Review: Ruckus by LJ Shen My Thoughts… I’ve only ever read one other book by LJ Shen going into Ruckus which was the novella in this series. After reading Ruckus I’m now forever a fan! I thought this was a solid angst filed book of love gone wrong.  The story was deep and the characters were complex and the story had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.  You were rooting for Rose and Dean but it seems like life and fate were destined to keep them apart.  Ruckus is definitely one to check out! Even thought this is book two in a series it can be read as a standalone.  I didn’t read book one […]

Black (A Bloodlines Novel) by K.L. Grayson Release Date: June 29, 2017 My Thoughts… I’ve been a KL Grayson fan from the beginning. I’ve always loved her books as she always brings us amazing stories. I cannot tell you how much I loved Black!!!  It’s like she plucked Rex out my head and wrote this just for me!!! When I envision the tall, dark, and sexy handsome male, you might as well just call him Rex for now on.  I have a weak spot for Italians and that just was the icing on the cake! Tall, dark, and sexy Italian… yup I’m a goner!!!  I’m just a pile of mush! lol.  So moving on… Black was so suspenseful and had […]

Review: Notice by K. Webster My Thoughts K Webster is just a machine! She just continually gives us these mind blowing dark stories of love and every single time I just get sucked in! Notice was not exception! It’s intense, a bit stalkerish, and makes me question my sanity.  But this is nothing new with Ms Webster! I am regularly contemplating my sanity after I read her books but in the end, I’m always falling in love with the broken characters she brings us.  Notice is a complete novel told in alternating points of views. Violet has worked for Grayson for six years. He’s never noticed her, not when she was bringing him coffee, not when she was busy being his assistant, […]

Review: The Last Guy by Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise My Thoughts… I love me some Ilsa Madden- Mills! I love me some Tia Louise!! Put them together and BAM, you have a super team!!! The Last Guy was just sexy, witty, funny, and a great summer read that I just devoured!!!  DEVOURED! If I didn’t already know this was written by two authors I would assume it was written by just one person.  The writing was seamless and effortless and since I’m a fan of both I would not be able to tell the two apart! The Last Guy is one you need to read!! It’s a complete novel told in alternating points of views. Rebecca is a reporter […]

Review: The Tutor by K. Larsen My Thoughts… Holy cannoli!!! This book was just CRAZY! INSANE! And I loved it!!!  The Tutor by K. Larsen had me on the edge of my seat biting my nails and had me guessing until the very end on how things were going to play out! I loved how she gave us multiple points of views.  You didn’t get just your main character’s but also secondary characters.  You were able to see the story from all sides and still with that I was still thinking OH LORD WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!!!!  This was another great read from Ms Larsen has as always I cannot wait to see what else she has in […]

Battle of the Sexes by Adriana Locke My Thoughts… A feisty office romance is one of my favorite sub-genres to read! Theirs is nothing hotter than an office thrown in turmoil because of two people who are fighting to keep things professional. You know sooner or later its going to get HOT! Battles of The Sexes by Adriana Locke is just amazing! I wrote Ms Locke and told her I needed this in a full length novel!! That is how much I loved it!  It’s sexy and witty and I could not get enough of it! This is a novella told in alternating point of view and is a complete story. Carver has been groomed for the CEO position is […]

Review: Twisted by Mandi Beck My Thoughts… I have always been a huge fan of Mandi Beck and I when I saw she was apart of this novella series I knew I had to jump all over it!! I simply devoured Twisted!! DEVOURED! The flow of the novella is so easy and seamless and Ms Beck always brings us great characters! Her females are always kick ass sassy ladies and the men you want to swoon over and lick your kindle in hopes they come to life! Fannin and Jasper where no exception! By the end I wanted Fannin to be my best friend and I wanted my Jasper to be mine! Or at least a sexy bearded Scottish man for my own! […]

Review: Swear by Adriana Locke My Thoughts… I love a good second chance romance novel and Swear was quite the surprise for me. To be honest, I was not a fan of the first Landry brother book so I took a little break from the series.  I know Adriana Locke has skills so I thought, you know what, I really need to check out this series again and give it another go.  I’m so happy I did!  Ford Landry was total swoon worthy and I totally fell for him! This was one I highly recommend and I cannot wait to see what’s next for the Landry siblings! This story is told in alternating points of views and can be read […]

Review: The Wright Boss by K.A. Linde My Thoughts… I just love an office romance! The build up, the anticipation, gah… i just love it! KA Linde has the amazing ability to always bring us a sexy angsty read that sucks me in each and every time. We met Landon and Heidi in The Wright Brother and I couldn’t wait for their own book. There was enough sexual tension that you know they would combust at any time!! Heidi is a firecracker! Quick witted and not afraid to speak her mind, She’s s self sufficient and supported her self through college. She’s worked hard to get where she’s at with Wright Construction but she has one rule, no dating a […]

Review: Plus One by Aleatha Romig My Thoughts… I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the lighter side of Aleatha Romig!! I simply adore her dark and deep side.  Her novels are some of my favorites but it’s nice to take a break of the serious and read something light.  Plus One made me laugh, giggle, and swoon over Duncan and Kimber’s story. I hope that Aleatha brings us more from the lighter side as it doesn’t matter what she writes, she always brings us something for us to devour! This a standalone complete novel told in alternating points of views. Kimber has worked for Duncan Willis for three years in the Human Resource Department. She has secretly admired […]
