From USA Today Bestseller Ava Harrison, comes a sexy new STANDALONE romance.

Pierce Lancaster is bad news.
Spoiled.
Entitled.
Sexy as —
He’s exactly what I don’t want in my life. What I don't need.
I’m not the girl he knew before.
I’ve changed.
But he hasn’t.
He’s trouble filled with empty promises.
I’ve come too far to fall back.
Yet I can’t seem to stay away.
I can’t say no.
I am addicted to Pierce Lancaster.

My Thoughts…

Oh how we love the bad boys and Pierce Lancaster has bad boy written all over him and gahhhhhhh!! I just loved him!  He was by far my favorite Lancaster and Ava Harrison definitely saved the best for last!  Pierce and Lindsay were both so broken but together they just fit. They were a perfect pair and I just fell in love with this story!

Lindsay helps run a boys center and even though she has a trust fund, doing something worth while and meaningful means more to her than a simple pay check.  Giving back to the community is her passion and she is perfect for it.

After getting in trouble one to many times, Pierce must do community service to stay out of jail. His path of destruction leads him to the Boys Center Lindsay helps run.  They run the in same circle of friends so she’s taken back when She sees him there. She knows his past and how he is and she’s not about to give him any special treatments.

There is no denying the two have chemistry and their story is not an easy one. There are twists and turns and one point I thought I was going to loose it! I messaged the author that I wasn’t going to speak to her anymore! Lol!  I love Ms Harrison so I doubt this would happen but I did threaten her! This is the kind of book that gives you all the feels and makes you love the characters despite in their flaws.  Explicit takes me back to why I first feel in love with Ms Harrison in the first place! This was some of her best work and if you’ve not read her works yet, you need to! Explicit can be read as a standalone!  This was a huge 5 star read and one that I highly recommend!!

Excerpt

“Hey, I never got a taste,” Pierce exclaims.

“Oops.” I smile innocently. “There’s none left. Maybe next time.”

Before I know it, he’s leaning into me. Into my personal space, he’s so close I’m dizzy. Our gazes are locked. My breath comes out ragged and harsh from being this close to him. What is he doing?

He answers my unspoken question by taking my hand in his. My heart hammers heavily in my chest as it lifts. The feel of his fingers on me is hot and heady, the memories that are imprinted on my mind resurfacing to the forefront of my brain. I remember everything.

We stare at each other.

Neither speaking.

The seconds pass, but it feels like everything is on pause as I wait to see what he will do. The boys talking in the background is a steady buzz against the pounding in my chest.

He lifts.

Thud.

Closer.

Thud.

His tongue juts out, and he swipes the tip of my finger where the cream from the filling has collected. Before I can think, he places it in his mouth and eats the rest.

“Ewwwww,” rings out through the room. The sound of the boys gagging pulls me out of my haze.

“What are you doing?”

“Having dessert.” He winks. His emerald green eyes twinkling with mischief.

He’s too close. Too damn close. I remember what his lips feel like against my skin. Decadent. Like the first bite of a macaron.

Sinful.

I need to get away.
