The next captivating installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series.

As the Princess of the Irish-American Mob, there’s no shortage of men ready to help guard and protect me. To slowly suffocate me to the point of seeking freedom—a place where I can breathe.

Kieran Hayes has been saving me for as long as I can remember. It’s in his blood, and one of the many reasons I fell in love with him. Until my favorite trait became his biggest flaw, making me resent the man I love. An unwavering warrior, his love for me has been shrouded by those instincts.

Save Lily. Protect Lily. Hide Lily. Cage Lily.

What I wasn’t prepared for was Dare—the man who would set my world on fire with just one touch. He saw straight through to my soul, as though he knew I was desperate for freedom, and silently demanded my heart from the beginning.

And I didn’t expect Dare to be Demitri Borello—the reason for so many deaths in my family. A man who will take my life the moment he finds out who I am.

Despite it all, I’ll love him until that moment comes.

A fire will die if there is no oxygen for it to consume. Ours is rapidly stealing every last breath we can sacrifice to it.

My Thoughts on Firefly

I swear sometimes I think Molly McAdams writes books just for me.  I can always count on her to give me a angst filed story of tortured love and heartbreak and I cannot get enough of it!!  I so love a story that will have me on the edge of my seat and has butterflies in my stomach.  This is why I read!!!  Firefly was just that book!!!  I absolutely LOVED it!!  The angst, the feels, the torment, and the love….  it has it ALL!  Gah did I mention how much I loved it??!!!  This is a definite favorite of mine for 2017!  That is just how good it is! This is a must read!  Go now and one click if you haven’t!

Lily was supposed to be dead.  She faked her death to be safe, she is supposed to be dead so she could live.  Since then she has done nothing but live a caged life. A prisoner in her family home, all to keep her alive.  She dreamed of running away with the love of her life Kieran but now that seems impossible.  Once a week though she sneaks out to meet a friend for coffee. She changed her hair and eye color to remain unrecognizable.  The one bright spot of her week is these weekly meetings.  But also every week someone who catches her eye.  They never speak.  He leaves her notes and leaves her day dreaming about him.

Dare has seen the same girl come into the coffee shop every week for a year and has never spoken to her. There is something about her that is captivating and intriguing.  But Dare has recently lost his fiancé.  He’s not about ready to chase a girl when he’s set on avenging his fiancé’s death.  He’s close to finding his revenge and when he finds it, he knows it will be bittersweet.

Lily finally speaks to Dare and a friendship blossoms.  Feeling conflicted as Kieran was always who she saw her life with but now that future looks hazing.  The more time she spends with Dare the more her she see’s herself with him.  With Dare having to deal with so much heartbreak, will he open his heart up again?  Will his thirst for revenge be too much??  How the story unfolds will leave you biting your nails and turning the pages until you get to the very end!!!  This was just an amazing story and I cannot wait for what else Ms McAdams has in store for us!!  This is a HUGE 5 star read!!

About Molly McAdams

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
