Welcome to the mysterious world of the rich and the damned in this gritty, modern day fairy tale. Two star-crossed lovers will either find their destiny or meet their fate in a world where demons come in the form of familiar faces and pawns aren’t just players, but deadly.
She was my destiny.
I was her downfall.
We were a match made in hell.
But when we were together, that hell was pure heaven.
The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she would pay the price for my sins. I wasn’t much older than she was, but old enough to know better. Old enough to know she would be good for me and I was bad for her. But I pursued her anyway. Back then I had hope that maybe she could change my future.
Maybe together we could change our fate . . .
Review: Savage by SL Scott
My Thoughts on Savage….
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a SL Scott novel (bad reader I know I know!!) and I’ve forgotten why I’ve feel in love with her stories in the first place!! Savage was full of suspense and had me on the edge of my seat wondering what the heck was going to happen next! I kicking myself I wasn’t able to read this sooner and I cannot wait to see how the story concludes in Savior!! The story is told in alternating points of views and is the first book of a duet and goes from past to present.
Sara Jane was a few days shy of her eightieth birthday when she first laid eyes on Alexander. She knew he was trouble as he was hot as sin. Guys like that didn’t fall for girls like her. She knew he would be nothing but trouble but like a moth to a flame she was drawn to him and there was no going back.
There was something about Sara Jane that Alexander could not get out of his system. He knew he was no good and she could do better but he was selfish. He needed to have her for him. He would bring her into a world she didn’t know of. He would show her things she could never imagine. Years go by it seems their relationship is going strong but Alexander has been hiding something from Sara Jane. When secrets get exposed things never go as planned. Alexander has always feared he would eventually loose her and this may be the catalyst to do just that.
I remain on the edge of my seat to see what happens next in Savior!! This is one I would highly recommend for all suspense lovers!
