A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...
I always wanted a nice normal boyfriend. The kind you could bring home to your parents. Instead, I fell for Austin Wright.
We tried this once and failed. Hard.
I swore the bad boy Wright who set my body on fire would never get a second chance, because our love is heroin laced gasoline—addicting and destined to go up in flames.
Review: The Wright Mistake by K.A. Linde
My Thoughts on The Wright Mistake…
I was so excited for The Wright Mistake by KA Linde and it did not disappoint!! We know Austin Wright is the black sheep of the family from the previous books and there is something a broken male that calls to my heart. The struggle of addiction is real and I loved that Ms Linde was able to use this as an outlet and reach out to those who may be going through the something similar. This was a must read and a story I just fell in love with. This is a complete story and is told in alternating points of views. Even though this is a spin off, you don’t need to read the other books to follow the story. I would recommend reading them though!!
Ever since he’s parents’ death, he’s struggled to keep his above water. He’s used alcohol as a crutch to take the edge off but as he’s getting older it seems the more he’s drinking. He’s always been the life of the party but with his siblings starting to settle down and start families, he starts to realize what he might be missing.
Julia is one of the few non-Wrights at Wright Construction in management. She’s the head of Human Resources and she’s knows the fair share of Wright drama. She and Austin have had a short lived relationship a few years back but things just didn’t work out. After all this time, there is an underlying current that keeps them at each other’s throats.
Austin convinces Julia to give him another chance but with their history can they move past the mistakes that already have been made? Is Austin ready to take the leap into a relationship and forgo his past bad habits? What looked to be an easy road turns out to be a bumpy one and there were several surprises along the way I never expected! You will have to read The Wright Mistake as you don’t want to miss Julia and Austin’s story!! I just loved this second chance, enemies to lovers’ story and I cannot wait to see what’s next in the Wright family!!!!
