Review: Star Struck by Laurelin Paige My Thoughts on Star Struck…. I love a sexy love story and Laurelin Paige always delivers a story that I can fall in love with.  She can rewrite the phone book and I would probably love it! She just has a knack for bringing us these stories were I just end of falling in love with the characters and Star Struck was no exception.  If you are looking for a great story to lounge around the pool with then look no further.  Star Struck will make you fall in love and have you swooning for Seth! This is a complete novel told in alternating points of views. Heather is not your typical A list actress.  She’s […]

Review: Ruckus by LJ Shen My Thoughts… I’ve only ever read one other book by LJ Shen going into Ruckus which was the novella in this series. After reading Ruckus I’m now forever a fan! I thought this was a solid angst filed book of love gone wrong.  The story was deep and the characters were complex and the story had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.  You were rooting for Rose and Dean but it seems like life and fate were destined to keep them apart.  Ruckus is definitely one to check out! Even thought this is book two in a series it can be read as a standalone.  I didn’t read book one […]

Review: The Tutor by K. Larsen My Thoughts… Holy cannoli!!! This book was just CRAZY! INSANE! And I loved it!!!  The Tutor by K. Larsen had me on the edge of my seat biting my nails and had me guessing until the very end on how things were going to play out! I loved how she gave us multiple points of views.  You didn’t get just your main character’s but also secondary characters.  You were able to see the story from all sides and still with that I was still thinking OH LORD WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!!!!  This was another great read from Ms Larsen has as always I cannot wait to see what else she has in […]

Review: Swear by Adriana Locke My Thoughts… I love a good second chance romance novel and Swear was quite the surprise for me. To be honest, I was not a fan of the first Landry brother book so I took a little break from the series.  I know Adriana Locke has skills so I thought, you know what, I really need to check out this series again and give it another go.  I’m so happy I did!  Ford Landry was total swoon worthy and I totally fell for him! This was one I highly recommend and I cannot wait to see what’s next for the Landry siblings! This story is told in alternating points of views and can be read […]

Review: Plus One by Aleatha Romig My Thoughts… I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the lighter side of Aleatha Romig!! I simply adore her dark and deep side.  Her novels are some of my favorites but it’s nice to take a break of the serious and read something light.  Plus One made me laugh, giggle, and swoon over Duncan and Kimber’s story. I hope that Aleatha brings us more from the lighter side as it doesn’t matter what she writes, she always brings us something for us to devour! This a standalone complete novel told in alternating points of views. Kimber has worked for Duncan Willis for three years in the Human Resource Department. She has secretly admired […]

Review: Play Along by T.L. Swan My Thoughts… This was the first book from T.L. Swan that I’ve read and I have to admit, I’m a fan! The suspense factor was OFF THE CHARTS!  I was totally on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I was trying to plot ahead and of course I’m always wrong! There were just a couple of things with word choices that I thought of man if this was used instead of that it would flow just so much better!!!  This had the potential to be a 5 star word but because of those little things that made me think “WHY OH WHY!” I rated at a 4 […]

It lends to a relationship that neither expected and they quickly discovered how much they needed each other. Dani just got dumped. Her boyfriend dumps her and in the process, is […]

The world around me was falling apart, and I was again powerless. I’d said I didn’t want to leave the mansion. I’d protested, but here I was, being ushered, forcibly, toward the front of the house. Though I couldn’t see the guests, their voices were audible over the click of Suzanna’s and my heels as we stepped upon the marble floor. “Dear, you’ll need to fix your make up.” I joined the others in ignoring Suzanna as panic bubbled in the depths of my stomach, creating a sour concoction. I needed to get away—not […]
